Will Mahama Contest For Presidency Again In 2024? TT Caternor Reveals

Communication team member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), T. T Caternor, has hinted that the party will present former president, John Dramani Mahama to contest for the 2024 Presidential election in order to favor all NDC supporters for what happened with the 2020 general election. Speaking on Atinka TV's flagship Morning show, Ghana Nie, hosted by Nana Owusu Nkrumah, Mr Caternor said;" Whether our flagbearer John Mahama likes or not we are presenting him for 2024 to contest for Presidential election." " NDC is going to court not only because of John Mahama, but the EC has breached a lot of the rules and if we do not look at it, it can happen to another person, " he said.According to Caternor, the process of declaring the results by the EC Chairperson, Mrs Jean Mensa was wrong, adding that she did so with the absence of the media and party representatives and this is against the law. He said, " These are some of the issues we are taking to court.

Bringing The Military Wasn't A Good Idea, Alfred Obeng Speaks

Former Managing Director for the Bulk Oil and Storage Transport (BOST) and Member of Parliament for Bibiani- Anhwiaso- Bekwai Constituency, Alfred Obeng has said that he had to step out of the Parliamentary chamber when fully armed Military men invaded the chamber to storm the Parliamentarians. Reacting to this incident, Former Managing Director for the Bulk Oil and Storage Transport (BOST) and Member of Parliament for Bibiani- Anhwiaso- Bekwai Constituency said he in the company of some of his colleagues had to walk out of the Chamber because they never expected the Military in the chamber of Parliament. According to him, bringing the Military to the floor of Parliament was not in a good taste because Parliament has its way of getting things done and that should have been followed through to the latter. Road Infrastructure Will Be Made Faster Than The Previous Year, Akuffo Addo States

Nana Addo Danqua Akuffo Addo has eventually sworn in as the President Elect of the fourth Republic of Ghana with Dr. mahamudu Bawumia as his Vice. As part of measures put in place for the country to witness infrastructural development, President Akufo- Addo pledged to revamp the railway sector. He said, " The development of our rail sector on which considerable resources and energies are being devoted will open up the country and also help realise the goal of regional and continental integration. " He also promised to make sure Water will be provided within Ghana's urban areas.  According to Akuffo Addo, all the promise above is to complete some developmental projects his administration began work on during his first term in office. This MP is Resigned By High Court, NDC To Have 136 Seats

The Cape Coast High Court has eventually granted to resign the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Member of Parliament for Assin North, Honorable Gyakye Quarson due to some issue within the Parliamentary polls in his Constituency. The NDC MP- elect for Assin North James Gyakye Quayson was sued allegedly for holding Canadian citizenship. According to the petitioner, Mr Quayson owes allegiance to both Ghana and Canada which contravenes the provision of Article 94 (2) (a) of the 1992 Constitution of Ghana. The flag bearer for the National Democratic Congress, His Excellency the formal President John Dramani Mahama eventually came out with his decision to finalize his petition for the Election 2020 protest against the Electoral Commission and Nana Addo Danqua Akuffo Addo. He said " Whenever we decide to take the easy road, the first step is always to surrender. And often, the thing that we lose is the very thing that we value the most, The freedom that we enjoy today was not given on a silver platter, It came at a price. " " It came because our forefathers and mothers stood on principle. Our history books are filled with the names of individuals who refused to take the road that was the easiest, or safest, or most convenient. " " They refused to surrender their ability to appeal for justice in a land where they were meant to have a voice and use it for the betterment of themselves and their children and future generations. "

We Made A Mistake Within Our Petition But We Will Correct It In The Court Room, Lawyer Amaliba states

  According to NDC Member of Parliament Lawyer Abraham Amaliba, there was a mistake within their Petition written to the Supreme Court against the Electoral Commission and Nana Addo Danqua Akuffo Addo. Lawyer Amaliba said " Though we deviate with our petition letter which was written to the Supreme Court, but it won' t change anything, because if the Supreme Court read the letter they will find out that they were the first to be mentioned instead of the Electoral Commission and Nana Addo Danqua Akuffo Addo within the first paragraph, but If the Supreme Court finds it difficult, them we will correct it ourself in the Court room. "Also the Electoral Commission and Nana Addo Danqua Akuffo Addo must accept this our protest  so as  for the Court  to evaluate , because  they're  the one accused of this illegal  fraud ,  and that they   must  accept  and are available  to the Supreme Court otherwise  we are going to  continue our street protest."

I Want The Supreme Court To Order EC For Re-election_ Mahama speaks

  The flagbearer for the National Democratic Congress,John Dramani Mahama has eventually asked Supreme Court to order the Electoral Commission for re- count of votes or he will be glad if the 2020 presidential itself it re-elected . According to him, The results that the Electoral commission of Ghana collated within the 2020 election was not Luculent, so he and the NDC supporters demand for recount both the Presidential and parliamentary polls, that' s the only way to bring peace otherwise they will not stop their protest.  He also made a statement that, The National Democratic Congress(NDC) was supposed to be the victorious party within the 2020 election, though the Electoral commission is just trying to deviate the the polls but they won' t tolerate it, because the citizens of Ghana voted for Mahama and the NDC government so he(John Dramani Mahama) and the NDC supporters will do all what they can to subvert the will of Ghanaian' s.  Mah
